Basic Concept

4 stage action

  1. CONTACT Foraging cockroach locates applied product, which contains an attractant
  2. ADHERENCE Product adheres to cockroach’s exoskeleton
  3. TRANSFER Foraging cockroach returns to harbourage; contamination through horizontal transfer and by depositing powder
  4. RAPID AND EFFECTIVE CONTROL Active ingredient enters the cockroaches’ bodies through the soft membranes and/or by ingestion/necrophagia (secondary/tertiary mortality)

Mortality Chain

Note: ratios of mortality chain are illustrative; one infected cockroach can create a chain reaction resulting in mortality of between 30 (periplaneta americana) and 100 (blattella germanica) insects
